Flipping Your Lid

Flipping your lid, meltdowns, losing it…sometimes perfectly normal people freak out. Why is that? How can my child be sweet and caring one minute, become a fire breathing dragon the next and then act like nothing happened?

Wouldn’t it be great if we could know what’s going on on what to do about it? In this installment, we’ll take a look at what’s going on in the brain and why this happens. This will help you better target the actual problem, rather than putting out spot fires…or even worse, pouring gasoline on the fire! Next time we’ll take a look at how to help get that lid back on.

*Spoiler Alert* Most of the time, adults are flipping their own lids at the same time as their kids!
